Museum Project

Frost Museum – Aug. 9th
Launched in August 2013, the FBA Museum Project FBA is a new project that gives young people the opportunity to earn community service hours while engaging themselves on an exploration of the city’s most prestigious museums and art galleries. This project invites students and graduates ages 14 and older to meet as group and tour a museum and gallery. Each participant will study an exhibition or piece in an exhibition for the purpose of creating their own unique presentation. Participants may work alone or with partners when completing the presentation. Once the presentation is complete, the participant will share it with groups or individuals who are unable to experience the exhibition on their own. During the entire process participating students can earn FBA community service hours based on the amount of time spent touring, preparing, and sharing the presentation from start to finish.
More information about our next project coming soon!
Participants must be age 14 or older. Prior to the project day participants must complete the online FBA Volunteer Enrollment Form. Participants must provide their own transportation to and from the project. Lunch and materials will be provided by FBA.
