What is FBA?
The Forever Bloom Alliance is an education-based public charity and 501(c)(3) led by a collaboration of students, teachers, parents, volunteers and business professionals. Through its unique programs FBA strives to promote the educational and social well-being of America’s youth. FBA’s impact on the lives of youth and their communities is meant to be both beneficial and long-lasting.
Who is FBA?
FBA is made up of ambitious high-spirited individuals who care about the future of their local and global community. More importantly, through education, volunteerism, mentoring, and personal achievement, they are not afraid of working towards making a difference to benefit themselves and others. FBA supporters have shown that working to help others is not only invaluable to so many individuals and institutions in need of help, their contribution can also be a rewarding, enlightening, and fun experience for themselves.
What’s the difference between the New FBA and the Old FBAA?
The primary difference between FBA and FBAA, aside from the obvious name change, lies in the difference between the organization’s present and former strategies towards fulfilling its mission. The old Forever Bloom Alumni Association focused more on reaching out to young people through an array of social events and fundraising activities. Events, projects, and other FBAA initiatives centered mostly around work performed by its Leadership Committee and particular groups of students, who the organization depended on heavily for financial and moral support.
The Forever Bloom Alliance has been restructured to make a broader impact on youths while bringing greater focus and professionalism to how this impact would be carried out. FBA fulfills its mission through its four programs: ADVENTravel, Forever Mentoring, Forever Bloom Volunteers, and Museum Project. The organization is now run by an alliance of students, parents, teachers, and professionals who collaborate with the FBA Board of Directors and the Leadership Committee.
